Conservation Poem

                      Conservation Poem

Factories blow

Environments slow

Cars start

Waterways stop.

Koe chirp

Trees are cut down.

Ships can see clearly

Ice melts more clearly

Buildings are built

wetlands are destroyed

New wildlife resorts are restored

Wildlife outside are retreating.

Rakau whai hua

tilts slightly from a blade

so does the earth.

Some people make the earth a better place, some really don’t.
